Vibrant Flowers

For this shoot, I decided to snap a series of shots of all these bright and Vibrant colors I was around. These flowers were unique and they had certain traits about them that I had never seen before. The flower closest to the bottom is called a Bird of Paradise, this flower was most unique to me because of the petal shapes and the combination of colors. The only editing done to these photos was Cropping, the colors are completely natural.

Buzzer Beater

For my 3D Comic Strip assignment, I came up with the idea for "Buzzer Beater" almost immediately. I wanted to stay with the excitement that a 3D comic strip exhibits, so I had this vision to portray the drama of a "Buzzer Beater" shot. I play basketball myself very often and there's a point when everyone sets up their own Buzzer Beater moment in their own minds. I really wanted to take this concept and put it into a photograph.

San Diego at Night

In the fall, I was fortunate enough to take a family vacation to San Diego. I spent majority of my time in the city, but my favorite location was Coronado Island. These are two images I captured at night while on Coronado Island. The image on the top was taken from the beachfront side of the Hotel Del Coronado. The image on the bottom is a view of San Diego at night across the bay. I loved the lights and I was happy that I was able to capture all the colors that I was seeing.

Sedona Nature Shoot

In November, my photography class had the opportunity to take a field trip to Sedona, AZ to capture some nature shots. These are two of my favorite photographs that I was able to capture with my time there. The Picture on the top was very fascinating to me because of the running water mixed with the color range of the plants and rocks around it. I was also able to apply a leading lines affect to it. The second picture caught my attention because I loved the bark pattern and the soft colors of the background. I was happy that I was able to capture it through "my eyes" and what I was seeing in this moment.
